This award memorializes John Gulliver who became a U.S. Marine and was the first Colonie Babe Ruth player to die in the Vietnam War.
He played on the 1962 Colonie Babe Ruth State Championship team and contributed to its success with his ability as a pitcher, at the plate and in the field. The award is selected annually by the League President, and is presented to a player who most exemplifies those traits. This years’ 2010 award goes to the following player:
